Bannister Creek Greenway

Bannister Creek Greenway is a 15-acre natural area in the Bethany neighborhood, extending from NW Laidlaw Road to NW Redfox Drive. The greenway is one of the park district’s most popular locales for beaver activity, and visitors are encouraged to look for dams, pointy stumps, and chew marks on trees. The area is accessible via several soft-surface trails and offers a quiet escape into nature. In our latest visit, we were able to spot a couple of rabbits and small snakes. Watch your steps!

Key features include:
- Soft-surface nature trails
- Notable beaver activity and wildlife viewing
